The photographer: “One additional shot of this magnificent barn…good thing it is 250 miles away from my front door or I’d probably be uploading shots of this fascinating structure on a weekly basis….

The image is a blended multi-exposure photo with three shots taken with a tripod in quick succession. One photo was taken at the correct aperture/shutter speed combo (according to the light meter inside the Nikon D70). A second shot is taken at 2 f/stops higher and another at 2 f/stops lower than the “correct” exposure.

All are then blended with Photomatix software in an attempt to replicate the tonality and colors that are seen by the naked eye while standing in front of this marvel…”
